Welcome!

Good afternoon! Well, I'm trying my hand at blogging. My mom kept a blog when we were in Zambia, and we have tons of fun looking back on it. I think this will be interesting. In a few years, I can look back and laugh at myself. Sure, it will be great!

So what am I going to blog about? Life. Writing. Narnia. Lord of the Rings. The crazy things my siblings do (I sometimes join them). Chickens. Cats. Dogs. 4-H. Friends. Lots of things! You probably don't want to hear about all of them, but oh well! Stop reading if you get bored. If you've made it this far you are doing very well.

What's happening right now: Currently, Becca Steingraber and I are chatting about random things. We just finished a 'yep' contest. Isabel Lewis and I had a fangirling war last week. Aslan won in the end. Kelly and Olivia filmed a very clever spy movie. When it's done being edited, I'll post it. The Ravens beat the Patriots. I decided on my favorite football team, even though I really don't care about football. You guys will be totally surprised who I picked to be my favorite team! The Lions. Surprised? Probably not. And you probably know why I picked them, too. Okay, enough rambling.

Really exciting thing for me right now: the 2013 Lion's Award Nominations for Narnia Fan-Fictions just started yesterday. Very, VERY excited! After two years of writing about Narnia, I really hope that my stories are good enough to win an award. I'm really hoping that "Born For This" (my current story) will do well. If you want to nominate it, follow this link (http://www.thelionscall.com/fan-creations/fanfiction/), it will take you to the Long Fiction section. Scroll down the alphabetical list till you hit the "B" section, and look for "Born For This". Under the story description, it should say 'Nominate for a 2013 Lion Award.' Click on that. It will take you to another page with the choices of the awards to nominate the story for. There are different categories. "Born For This" can be nominated to win the "Rilian Award" for best Alternate Universe story, as well as the "Eustace Award" for best long story in progress. Mark those two and hit submit! That's all there is to it! Thanks so much!!! Feel free to check out other authors works as well. It is a Christian site with Christian stories. And check out my other works as well!

Okay, done with writing for this post. So...nothing else is happening right now. Kelly and Olivia are at the orthodontist. Alek is watching the Andy Griffith Show. I'm writing and studying psychology. Bleh psychology. And I'm writing about battle strategies. Thanks Lauren, Pete and Mr. Lawson for your ideas! Edmund couldn't be a successful leader without you. He probably would have stumbled right into the Telmarine camp. Ah, Peter would have given him a lecture for that one. If Peter ever found out cause he isn't currently in the story! I know. I'm cruel. I didn't even include my favorite character in my story. Guess that's cause I spent so long wandering the battle fields of WW2 with Peter last year. Okay, I'm starting to ramble again. Maybe I better just stop writing this for the day. That's a good idea. Besides, I have things to discuss with Boromir. He stole Frodo's cheese balls again.

Thanks for bearing with me on this very strange post. Cheerio, chaps!
